On 5-10-08 at the Joslyn Senior Center in Escondido,over 50 professional volunteers counseled 36 families having problems paying their home mortgage. Over 72 persons attended the event. Members of the San Diego County Bar Association assisted with counseling the distressed homeowners. HUD approved housing counseling agencies and mortgage counselors reviewed homeowners' options. Fair Housing,FHA Secure, and other information were given to homeowners.
