Thanks to our work with the District Attorney’s office throughout last year, District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis awarded the HOC a grant for $17,500 to continue our work in the community to help increase awareness of real estate fraud. With the help of this grant, the HOC will: (1) Create a phone tree to deliver important educational housing related messages, (2) Purchase a projector to deliver presentations at our HOME Clinics and workshops, and (3) Produce a DVD to raise public awareness about housing resources and how to avoid being defrauded. We are so proud of this grant and the respect and support we have earned from the District Attorney’s office.
