On February 21, HOC held its HOME Clinic # 31 at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Miramar, CA for active and retired military and naval personnel. Over 110 persons attended the Clinic, as well as educational sessions on foreclosure prevention and on foreclosure and bankruptcy options. Over 52 families received individual counseling from HUD approved housing agencies. Over 50 professional volunteers counseled homeowners who are facing difficulties in making monthly mortgage payments. Information about local legal services, Fair Housing, FHA Secure, and other relevant information was provided to local homeowners
