It's an honor to serve as a Chairperson of the Board of the  Housing Opportunities Collaborative!

It's not only through collaboration that we can make a difference, but by truly working together that we will make this difference last.

It is my hope and the hope of the Board that we can accomplish these top goals in 2007 and 2008:

 

1. Creating a web site that has up to date information and on line resources,

2. Raising funds to bring nationallly certified training in San Diego to be provided free to staff of participating Housing Opportunities Collaborative organization,

3. Continuing to provide outreach through the professional real estate and financial industries, and

4. Advocating on behalf of consumers and increasing partnerships and collaborations to do so

It's very exciting to come together to formalize our organization and to lay the foundation for future work.  This is a foundation building time.  I am excited about it , and I wish to look back years from now to see that our work has flourished throughout the region.
